For the duration of the TransSLO project data is being collated and added to the existing knowledge of the transport research capabilities of Slovenia. All this developing information is being complied into a database of expertise so that Slovenia has an overview of the areas of transport expertise that are strong and where there are gaps, which could be filled. This information gathering will continue after the life of the project.

Slovenian transport researchers and research organizations were selected from common Slovenian research databases COBISS and SICRIS.

From common research databases of countries of previous Yugoslavija and in a dialogue with the researchers the database of transport researchers of neighboring countries was established.

The Analysis of Slovenian transport researchers and transport organizations will also further facilitate the inclusion of Slovenia in local, national and European projects and improve the co-operation and networking capability of the surface transport research community.
